Challenge: Coca-Cola had committed to a multimillion-dollar ad campaign to promote its Cherry Coke fountain brand and yet the bottlers were still not excited about the product.
Solution: Producer Lisa Lockhart teamed up with Director Spencer Thornton to produce this Cherry Coke Rally Video using the same on-camera talent from the McCann Erickson TV spots set against the lively streets of Los Angeles with a hip-hop flavored soundtrack. The bottlers got behind the product 100%, and fountain sales recorded a strong year. Coca-Cola even tested a :30 version of the video along side the two million dollar TV commercial series and to their surprise, our micro-budget concept video outperformed the real commercials in focus groups time and time again.

Thornton & Associates was brought in to create a cohesive DVD to address these issues and to supplement the distribution of the employee benefits handbook. The video project plus all 45,000 DVD copies were completed under budget and under a tight deadline.

Roaming Messenger, a virtual software company, needed to raise awareness and a substantial amount of money from investors for a product which they found difficult to explain. Thornton and producer Cathy Smith developed a video that "humanized" the virtual application, clearly explained what it was that the product did and detailed how important this software could be in today's world.
