Challenge: Coca-Cola had committed to a
multimillion-dollar ad campaign to promote its Cherry Coke fountain
brand and yet the bottlers were still not excited about the product.
Solution: Producer Lisa Lockhart teamed up with Director Spencer Thornton to produce this Cherry Coke Rally Video using the same on-camera talent from the McCann Erickson TV spots set
against the lively streets of Los Angeles with a hip-hop flavored soundtrack. The bottlers got behind the product 100%, and fountain sales recorded a strong year. Coca-Cola even tested a :30 version of the video along side the two million dollar TV commercial series and to their surprise, our micro-budget concept video outperformed the real commercials in focus groups time and time again.

BP,
the
fourth largest company in the world, needed to find a way to
assimilate 45,000 convenience store employees from Arco, AM/PM, Amoco
and BP Connect under one definitive health
and benefit plan, while
inspiring each separate corporation to take pride in being a part of
the BP conglomerate. Thornton & Associates was brought in to create
a cohesive DVD to address these issues and to supplement the
distribution of the employee
benefits handbook. The video project plus
all 45,000 DVD copies were
completed under budget and under a tight deadline.

music CD offerings, geared toward
Disney's younger
viewing audience to help secure their position as leaders in the
children's entertainment industry.

Roaming
Messenger, a virtual
software company, needed to raise awareness and a substantial amount of
money from investors for a product which they found difficult to
explain. Thornton and producer Cathy Smith developed a video that
"humanized" the virtual application, clearly explained what it was that
the product did and detailed how important this software could be in
today's world. This three-minute video helped the company secure
millions of dollars in capital.

d.e.m.o., a new hip-hop retail brand which would soon be occupying over 300 outlets in malls across the nation, desperately needed an orientation program to educate and motivate their new hires. Thornton was recruited to helm the project, due to his experience in the hip-hop genre and his success with their parent company, Pacsun, which owns and operates over 800 stores nationwide. The video was completed under budget, under deadline and totally exceeded the client's expectations.
