Music In High Places,
the critically acclaimed MTV
/DirecTV
music/adventure travel series that Thornton helped co-create was in
need of corporate sponsorship for its second season. The video promo he
scripted and produced must have left a big impression on the MasterCard
credit card company as they became the sole sponsor for the
multimillion-dollar budgeted series that
year.

Although
Merck, one of the nation's largest pharmaceutical companies,
deals with somber subjects like fighting diseases and other serious
health issues, they also have a pretty healthy sense of humor - evident in this video shown at a recent
symposium for their elite sales team members. Thornton was recruited by
producer David Kirkland for his stylistic editing and flair for comedy.
The video, starring our own Governor Schwarzenegger is an example of a
humorous morale-boosting production that became an instant classic for
Merck and its employees.

Pacific
Sunwear needed to motivate
15,000 retail store employees, while delivering their core sales
philosophy in a format which would be easy to understand and remember.
Because of his on-going work with the Disney Store, Thornton was
selected to produce a training video, which
could be utilized by both new and veteran employees of the chain.

The
Jewish Federation asked producer Erwin Kramer and Thornton to
create an upbeat, heartfelt fundraising presentation to secure the
enormous amount of money they required to build a new private Jewish
high school in Boca Raton, FL. The DVD presentation must have been
right on target emotionally as the first philanthropist who screened it
committed on the spot to a five million dollar donation.

When
Disney was ready to announce their new animated series about
hockey playing superhero ducks, there was one huge problem - not one
frame of footage had been shot for their Mighty Ducks
animated television show! So Thornton got the "call up" and proceeded
to put
together this sizzle piece with only a few crude still drawings of the
characters and game footage from the Mighty Ducks hockey team.

Music Video has long been one of
Thornton's specialties. Here's a clip
from Sonic Joyride's Baked video which chronicled the band's
"bus-top" tour accross America and was featured on MTV and VH-1.
